Officers responding to a shooting in the 4000 block of Silver Hill Road located Marco Sawyer, 32, suffering from gunshot wounds around 4:40 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, according to Prince George's County police.
Investigators said that Sawyer was unresponsive on the scene, and was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Detectives are currently working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive for this shooting.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for information in connection to this crime.
